Stefanie Thornton is a Human Resources Professional with over 15 years of experience building and leading Talent Acquisition teams to drive business efficiency. She has worked within multiple industries including healthcare, telecommunications and consulting. As Director of Talent Acquisition with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI, Stefanie has oversight for the staffing and recruitment function on a state wide level for Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI and Blue Care Network. Her role includes Diversity Recruitment, Intern Programs, College Relations & Recruitment, New Employee Orientation and Talent Technologies.

Throughout her career she has acquired specialized knowledge in such areas as integrating Talent Acquisition teams, applicant tracking systems implementation, diversity recruitment strategy, recruitment branding and building college recruitment/internship programs.

Stefanie has been with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI since 2006.
