Manager – Talent Management & Diversity

Lora Vinande is the Manager – Human Resources Development, Talent Management and Diversity, Americas for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. In her current position, Vinande is responsible for overseeing the design and execution of targeted learning programs focused on leadership development, job-skills training and continued education. She also oversees the performance management process, diversity and inclusion efforts and other corporate culture initiatives.

Vinande joined Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (formerly Daimler Financial Services) in November 2004, and within her tenure has helped to launch several national and international community outreach programs, restructured Employee Resource Groups, designed and implemented company-wide diversity training and has used innovative ways to ensure that both diversity and social responsibility are woven into the fabric of the culture of the company. Prior to her work at Daimler Financial Services, Vinande served as a Senior Account Executive at Campbell & Co., a Dearborn-based event and marketing firm. She has additional experience working with the news media and in the private event management industry.

Vinande graduated Magna cum Laude from James Madison College at Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Social Relations. She has been recognized for her professional accomplishments, including the Daimler Financial Services President’s Award 2005 and 2010– the highest business achievement honor presented annually from the company’s CEO. Vinande is involved with several community organizations and currently serves on the board of Leadership Oakland, the Advisory Board for the Michigan Council of Women in Technology and also serves as the President of the Advisory Board for the Michigan Diversity Council.
