Human Resources Training & Development Leader

Cassandra L. Harvey is the Human Resources Training & Development Leader for Michigan First Credit Union in Lathrup Village. She has served in this role three years and offers more than 10 years in training and development, instructional design and organizational management experience. In addition, she has spent more than 15 years working in the financial services industry in various roles.

She is responsible for managing the training and team member development functions for the credit union. In addition, she works collaboratively with Senior Leaders and Managers to design, create and implement strategic technical and professional training to ensure continued growth and development of her Michigan First team. She has served as a member of the Education Committee for the Michigan Diversity Council since 2009.

Cassandra is a certified facilitator or administrator for several popular training programs; such as FranklinCovey, Myers-Briggs, Development Dimension International (DDI), American Management Association, J. Howard & Associates, and AchieveGlobal.

She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a MBA in Organizational Management. In addition, she is a recent graduate of Liberty Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Evangelism & Church Planting. She is a current member of the national and Detroit-area American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
